Picture Thief -Remixed….

Ok, so you know how the pic thief in my last article stole my pic and put it up on Craigslist?? I made a vid about it on youtube and miraculously, the pic was flagged on Craigslist for removal..They took it down!! Yaaaaay, right?? WRONG…these people had the nerve to do this again..The very next day, they put up a new ad on Craigslist with the same picture. How do I know, you ask? Because I got on Craigslist to review and many of my fellow youtubers are watching as well. I had to call the owner of the salon to ”firmly” request removal of my picture. I mean, why would you even put it up there and risk somebody walking in your shop and calling you out? Or worse yet, risk Mrs Raines flying to ATL to check you in front off ya peeps along with an attorney and suit filed against you?? On top of that, you risk losing everything you worked so hard for (ie getting your little business off the ground, going to school day after day to learn the trade of hair styling)..I mean, is it really worth it?

My suggestion would be for little missy to find a client with jacked up hair and do before and after shots..I mean, with the clients approval and signed waiver of course.

The moral of today’s story?? Thou shalt not steal! Liars and thieves do not prosper! EVER!

Is it really that serious though? You’re acting like you are a celebrity or something. It might be a good idea for you to calm it down.

    • Its not about being a celebrity, its about claiming that you did my hair when you didn’t. If you have skills in doing hair than your work should speak for you, not falsely advertising someone elses work. If it was my stylist using the picture, I would be glad to let her use it. Simple as that. What’s right is right.

    • Oh yeah, might I remind you, this is my blog so I get to write MY opinions here. Thanks for dropping by.

Um yeah… you have EVERY right to be as upset and might I add, as outdone as you are. I follow your vids on youtube and you have done a magnificent job at growing your hair out yourself – no one took the journey with you but you. For someone to now swoop in & claim your results as their own is outright thievery and I for one applaud you for handling it as you have. Thanks for looking out for the consumer as well – sure wouldn’t want to waste my hard earned dollars at a salon trying to achieve fictitious results. Keep doing what you’re doing!!! God Bless!
